Thread tension and control are the keys to tying solid flies. Standard bobbins handle this by bending the legs in and out or wrapping thread around the legs of the bobbin. The Stonfo Elite solves this problem by providing a micro-adjustible tension knob. You can apply just the right tension to that 30 denier GSP thread for tying size 22 flies, then load a 210 denier pre-waxed thread and adjust the tension. You'll never break the thread again or have a bobbin land in your lap when you tug a little too hard. 

The Stonfo Elite is a machined bobbin with a hardened steel tip insert and countersunk feed. It allows thread to glide through the tube for threading and tying. And you can adjust the drag control in a large adjustment zone for fine tuning thread tension to your personal ideal.
