Bead Head Prince Nymph - Biot Tails

This version of the Bead Head Prince Nymph is tied with brown Goose Biot tails, giving a forked look to the nymph's tail. This is the current popular version of the Prince.

I have always seen the Prince tied with biot tails, at least until I saw Dave Hughes' book Essential Trout Flies. Hughes shows the Prince tied with peacock sword tails. I've always liked the irridescence of peackock herl, swords, and eye stalks. So we're making both this version of the Prince and the sword version. Try them both.
