Father's Fly Shop - Terms and Conditions

We really hate terms and conditions! Dad says that too many companies hide behind their "policies." Here's the deal: we want you to be 100% happy. If you're not 100% happy, tell us why (at service@fathersflyshop.com) and we'll try our best to make you happy. Of course if you're one of those folk that isn't ever happy...

Shipping Method

We offer fixed cost shipping, and we pick the best way to ship. Some items can't be shipped by some methods (for example, a USPS large envelope can only be 3/4 inch thick). If you need us to ship a particular way (for example, USPS doesn't deliver to your location), let us know. We will check the pricing of the method you choose and let you know the difference in cost. If you don't want to pay the increased cost, we will cancel the order.

International Orders

At this point, we just don't accept international orders. International tracking is difficult and expensive. To put it simply, we can't find a cost effective way to assure that packages are delivered. If you order from us and use an international package forwarding service, we consider the package delivered to you when tracking shows that it has been delivered to the address we were given. Be sure to give us all of the address (including any codes or box information).

Returns & Replacements

Dad says that you have to be completely satisfied: no exceptions. If you order something that isn't up to snuff, send it back for something else or a refund. If the color you order isn't the one you want, or you didn't realize that a size 24 was really, really small, or you just want something else, send it back. We believe that if we treat you like we want to be treated, you'll come back again and again. That's what we're hoping for!

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase; if you bought it on this site, we already have the records, so just give us a ring and tell us it's coming. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 days, usually much faster. We may also offer you store credit, which you may have if you prefer it.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account, PayPal account, or credit card. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at service@fathersflyshop.com.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. Well, we might make an exception; if you aren't happy, let us know. We want to make you happy.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at service@fathersflyshop.com and send your item to: 5100 Poplar Ave. FL 27; Memphis, TN 38137 USA.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and she or he will find out about your return.

Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to: 5100 Poplar Ave. FL 27; Memphis, TN 38137 USA. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
