Improved Black Woolly Bugger

This woolly bugger is improved by using better marabou (blood quill), better hackle (hen), and adding an under-tail of black bear hair that lifts the marabou tail and keeps it from wrapping around the hook as you cast and retrieve. Remember that because this Bugger has less weight (no cone head), it will sink more slowly. Fish it in water where you want a slower sink rate or where the fish are holding higher in the water.
