In an old standard fly tying guide, we found the recipe for a marabou midge. Marabou is used as a tailing and a body material on flies because it provides a natural movement in the water. These tiny flies have a pulsing body that responds to the slightest water movement underwater. Put a handful of these in different colors in your flybox to tease finicky trout out of the water.
