Rainbow Scud Dub

Rainbow Scud Dub

This four-color dubbing blend adds mixed tones to fly bodies, creating a useful option when a single flat color is not the look you want. It is available in light and dark shade options.

Use it for scud and sowbug patterns, Rainbow Warriors, or collars on nymphs. The blend is designed to look appealing when wet, making it a practical addition for tying flies intended to fish below the surface.

Features

• Four-color blend – Combines several tones in one dubbing to add color variation to a fly body.
• Light and dark options – Choose a shade to suit the pattern or the color profile you want to tie.
• Useful when wet – The mixed colors remain a good fit for subsurface patterns.
• Versatile pattern material – Works for scuds, sowbugs, Rainbow Warriors, and nymph collars.
• Easy to apply – Dub it onto tying thread to build bodies and collars at the vise.

Best For

• Scud and sowbug imitations
• Rainbow Warrior nymphs
• Subsurface nymph bodies
