This superfine gel-spun polyethylene (GSP) fly tying thread combines a 30 denier diameter with a reported breaking strain of 1,140 g (2.51 lb). Its vivid yellow color adds a clear accent to small patterns, while its fine profile helps keep thread wraps and fly bodies slim.
Designed for small flies, the 18/0 thread can also be split for dubbing techniques. Use a ceramic bobbin holder, as recommended for GSP threads.
