Add a layered flash effect to flies with synthetic strands that shift color along their length. The blended colors bring visual contrast to wings and bodies without requiring separate materials.
Each hank contains 300 strands, each 10 inches long, tied at the top to keep the full length usable. That longer working length makes it practical to tie everything from small nymph details to extended streamer wings.
Features
Multicolor strands – Color shifts along each strand add varied reflection to finished flies.
Blended color options – Mixes combine multicolor flash with complementary highlight or background tones.
Top-tied hank – Keeps more of each strand available for tying longer wings.
300 strands per pack – Provides ample material for multiple flies and different applications.
10 inch strand length – Can be trimmed for small patterns or used at greater length for larger flies.
Versatile fly-tying flash – Use it for streamer wings, baitfish patterns, or flash accents on nymphs and other flies.
