These nylon gloves have a smooth, stretchy back and a velcro wrist closure to fit most. The textured, bumpy palm side increases your grip on slippery fish as well as your rod handle. At the same time, the hemmed, open thumb, first and second fingers allow you the feel you need to tie leaders, tippets, and flies on the line.
It's too bad these work as well as they do, because they are sinfully ugly. But once you try a pair, you won't be without them.
