Verum Fly Line - Sinking Tip (3ips) Configuration - Floating Line - Lemon Green / Black 

This Verum fly line is a classic weight forward design with a 3ips sinking tip.  Approximately the first 30 feet of the line is heavier than the rest of the line to carry the line forward on longer casts. This Lemon Green / Black line has a 10 foot tip that sinks at a rate of approximately 3 inches per second. 

This is an ideal choice for nymphing or stripping streamers on still water or rivers with moderate depth. Anglers who prefer not to use split shot because it gives the nymph an artificial motion as the shot catches on the bottom and the nymph bounces back and forth after it, the sinking tip line is ideal. The floating section of the line works to telegraph strikes and allow easy pickup for backcasts.

If you don't have a sinking tip line, here's an excellent choice for improving your high sticking or swing fishing. It gets the fly to the depth where the big ones feed without requiring split shot.
